Even If You Will Outsource A Task, Know How Its Done

After people came familiar with the idea of outsourcing, everyone wants to outsource his tasks, and to be honest it's a very good idea in most cases.

Since you could be having silly tasks that you don't want your time to be wasted by, and other people could get this done for you at a very low price, so it is reasonable.

But the thing I came here to say is, don't outsource a task that you don't know how it's done, for a couple of reasons:

1) If you don't know how this task should be done, you won't be fair at paying someone the amount of money he deserves, you'll either end up paying them more than they deserve, or less. Both ways it's not a good thing, because you'll either lose much money or lose the person working with you.

2) If you don't know how this task should be done, you won't know how much time it needs to be done, if for example have paid someone to edit a video for me, if I know nothing about video editing he might finish it in 2 weeks, and take much more money from me since he worked on it for too long, but if I have even little experience with video editing, I'll know that it only took him a couple of hours.

3) You need to start from ground zero as an entrepreneur, at least that is my advice, because when you're just starting a project, you don't have much time to pay for employees, or even outsourcing tasks, it's always better to try and do everything on your own, at least initially.

4)If you know nothing about designing, it's not convincing to be managing a team of designers after a couple of years, what advices will you give them then? and how could you make sure they're giving you the best they have? and so many other things.

So without making this long, start by learning to do things on your own, it's not necessary to be an expert at every field, but you just to have general knowledge and some experience.
