Okay, maybe some people would laugh reading this answer, but I really mean what I say.

One of the most underrated methods now is following people who are following relevant accounts. Usually, social media platforms limit your ability to do this, so you can’t follow, for example, 200 accounts, so you’ll be dividing it into 25–30 followers per social media platform per day.

If you still aren’t convinced, imagine that, for example, you’re interested in climate change issues and how we could change this for the better in the future. 

You found at the notifications tab an account about climate change issues; what would stop you from following this account? Visiting their website? Downloading their application.

It seems like a cheap way of getting leads, but I believe it’s an excellent method initially when you’re just starting, plus it costs absolutely nothing.
