Almost every porn addict asks this question whenever he starts or even thinks about quitting porn addiction; "How long will it take to heal from porn addiction?"
Most resources suggest that 90 days is enough time for you to recover from porn addiction and reclaim most of your health and well-being, but I believe healing is a wider definition.
Healing means that porn is no longer a part of your thoughts or actions; it means that you no longer think of it as a refuge, as a way to relieve stress, or as a pain killer!
Addiction is all about dependence; depending on porn to relieve stress, fix your mood, and obtain your desired dopamine dose.
On the other hand, healing is getting rid of this dependence completely; by finding other ways to relieve your stress, fix your mood, etc.
Also, a major part of your healing process is getting rid of all the intellectual deviations and behavioral abnormalities that porn addiction does to your mind; since porn has changed the definition of pleasure for every porn addict and even the sexual relationship itself.
Intellectual deviations include observing the other gender as nothing more than a "tool for pleasure" and unfortunately every porn addict has this observation, especially people who have been using porn for a couple of years!
What you have to know is; that healing is a major goal, and if you've been able to succeed in this challenge you'd be a better, stronger, more attractive, more active person, and your life would be at least 100x better. You need to focus on the long-term goal; healing with all that it has of advantages and benefits, and never focus on how many days it would take you.
Believe me, if healing from porn addiction took 30 years, it would still be worth it!
